Do I have enough carbon credits to breathe?

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

Hmm, as I wake up this morning and share the air with my fellow citizens I am in wonder as to what the world might be like in 10, 20, perhaps 50 years given the directions we are headed. Once scenario is highlighted in the following video that suggests an extreme example of the not so distant future. The more I consider this it is not so extreme given our continued advancement in technology and measurement capabilities. We need to make a strong statement in the next re-elections.

Is climate change a hoax? Is this more about the changing cosmic rays from the sun?

Well with 6.7 billion people on the planet something has to give yet I hear some experts suggest that the planet could sustain 50 billion people. You know if the United States can sustain a 12.1 Trillion dollar debt anything is possible in this world.

I think we all know deep down inside that big social machines consume large amounts of resources namely money and natural resources on the planet. Maybe we need to rephrase the argument to adapting sustainable energy for cost savings and balance of power.  It would be better if we did not import as much oil as we do. Agree? What do we do to balance our financial equation. We change our actions, especially our corporate actons, the one thing we have control over.
