Protection of freedom is a primary concern for all of us. Though I’m not sure I would want to sit down and have a beer with Rush I do think he is interested in protecting our freedoms that appear to be dwindling, or are under attack under the junior senator we call the “president”, (I type that with all due respect). In the video below you can get a sense for where Rush stands and how he feels about protecting the freedom we all find precious.
On the other hand I actually think I would enjoy visiting with the president, perhaps a dichotomy of world views we share piques my interest in the dialog or exchange. Even though he reminds me of middle management misfits I have shared the stage with in some of the worlds best organizations, I must say he’s personable, a likable kind of guy we can all relate to in everyday life here stateside.
Likable as Barak Obama is at the end of the day America is about balance. The balance of power is a necessary part of our daily lives and needs to be respected to protect our system that allows individuals to make extra-ordinary contributions to our society. Respect Rush for standing up for you and your rights of free speech. Take a moment to understand the human side of this complex individual who believes in the value of the capitalistic system we live in and are prospering by being a part of.
