Find the Independent voice in your next election that supports the American Constitution and get active in your community to help this person get elected. Ask your representatives for transparency into the governing process and let’s get to the basics of how this country was founded by understanding the US Constitution.
Political Brat is publishing the US Constitution in multiple formats including on site posts here, mp3,and e-book reader for discussion and review on this site. As constituents we need to discuss and understand how the laws that are developed by our government are constitutional and have the blessing of the US Constitution.
For the record Political Brat is an Independent voice and supports issues and causes that are politically correct for the American people, not the politicians in Washington DC. When politicians are not getting the message it is up to the people to get involved and sort through the issues and help guide or correct the direction of the country through local and national elections.
It is time for a wake up call to the people to insure a balance of power as written in our original constitution. The American people expect our politicians to be accountable, ethical, credible and transparent to the people. We expect at a minimum the following from our leadership:
- Clear, consistent and truthful bi-directional communication to and from the American people
- Controlled spending that reduces our deficit and national debt
- Economic stimulation that fosters small business and innovation
- Laws and processes that limit the Bureaucratic growth of red tape beyond reasonable means
- Clearly written and articulated laws and processes ‘engineered’ to prevent misunderstanding and legal wrestling matches, i.e. clear roadmaps
- Processes that limit government in a reasonable manner to practical formats of governing the people and at the same time protect civil liberties and freedoms.
- Lowers dependence upon the government yet provides checks and balances to unfair practices in the business environment
- Lower the baggage on the American people by reducing the code of law to essential elements allowing its’ application in a clear and rational manner

With this written we at Political Brat expect to analyze the issues before the American people that directly affect our quality of life and will at time suggest a corrective course. Ideally we would like to see that the bills that come out of congress are well thought out and have graphical elements like flow charts or flow diagrams that illustrate how the law is being designed to correct or improve the condition of the American people. We would also like to see that time is allotted so that we ALL could read and understand the bill before your representatives.
We ask that in the next election you vote your conscience and what you truly believe and to the best of your ability and understanding.
