America has long been a country that respects religious freedom and allows people of any religion to worship freely. Perhaps it has become time to review where we draw the line on this freedom. If your religion supports the destruction of The United States then perhaps your religion should be under heightened scrutiny to insure that it operates within the laws, or the interpretation of the law.
Are you citing the desire to be part of and perhaps alluding to your desire to participate in the destruction of the United States? This is probably a good reason for closer scrutiny of you and your religious organization who it may be irregardless your organization should face the same fate as if you threaten the President. I think this is a pretty serious charge. See the corresponding law here! There are numerous news clips where people have been arrested and are charged with threatening the President of the United States. I don’t recall this kind of response to all the threats against President Bush when he was in office but this is a whole different story for a different post. Back on topic.
Should Muslims be in Military if their beliefs suggest that they are not capable of honoring the commitment? From a number of perspectives Muslims are under a unique pressure based on their religious doctrine. This fact does not excuse them from their duties as American citizens and their responsibility to conduct their lives in accordance with the laws of this country they choose to live in.
