Does the Health Care bill before congress pass the Common Sense Test?
As the United States senate debates the Health Care bill before them we all must realize this bill before congress and effectively the American people “does not pass the common sense test”.
So far the debate in the senate appears much more intelligent than what I witnessed on the floor of Pelosiville, (The United States House of Representatives). I think the true issue here is that the fight is just beginning.
I think the people have really spoken that this bill does not make sense, read here. The states additionally have pointed out that the health care reform bill offloads a large burden of medicare cost distributed across the states. The states will have budget problems with this bill due to new costs to support Medicare and additionally the number of Medicare recipients will rise also.
The question continues to be: Where will the money come from to fund the program?
Political Brat will start a list of who votes for this bill, HR3962, to pass. We think that these congressional men, women and senators who vote for this bill are putting their political careers in jeopardy. We expect our litmus test to be conducted next fall.
